Accomplishing things

Hi hi hi hi hi.

So.

It's been some time since I updated here. Not because I haven't wanted to, but because rather than talking about knitting, I've been actually knitting! Whee!

So far, I've made

• a glasses case for myself (green, cotton, stockinette stitch, mostly made it to keep from scratching them all the time)
• a very long scarf for Donna (black and white, K2P2 ribbing, with fringe... fringe!)
• two dishcloths (purple, got the pattern from a friend)

And now, I'm making

• a lovely scarf for my sister's upcoming birthday (details and pattern to follow)
• a sweater-type garment for myself (deep red acrylic/wool blend, jersey stitch, basically it is a shawl that will be sewn)

Also, upcoming is

• a visit to my fravrouritest yarn shop around here, Cricket Cove
• me deciding what the next big project will be.

I'm not sure if this is how other knitters/yarnoholics work, but lately I have been falling in love with yarn first, projects second. It's generally the other way around with sewing, so this is a new feeling for me.
