Heel! Heel!
I'm now on the heel of my blue socks. And I'm going to be travelling for hours and hours soon, so I'm going to be making loooooots of progress.
It's so exciting!
I've learned to purl! I don't remember what was I so confused about. It may just be that I got frustrated and wanted to see my work progress. Now I'm all excited to see how it will fit once I'm done, and have washed it.
Whee!
Okay, so I need to calm down a little. Today I found myself thinking, "I wonder if I can just go find a couch somewhere and just knit a couple of rounds. Just a couple."
This is how it starts, isn't it? I'm pretty sure I should worry that I'm going to develop an obsession with yarn, but all I can think of is the heel of this sock. And then the instep. It's coming up. Soon.
Soon I will lust after yarn. New yarn.
*eyes begin to glaze over*
Must. go. to yarn store.

isn't it odd how knitting can take over your conscious mind? i never thought i'd get this into it.
before we know it i'll have two cats and be making toilet paper cosies in a rocking chair by the fireplace of the home i'll never leave...
Yes. It's very odd. I'm pretty sure I have to be careful, because I imagine that if I'm not, my apartment will be overtaken by yarn. Perhaps consumed is the correct word. Then, soon, my parents' house will drown in it. Next thing you know, I will just be surrounded by yarn, yarn, beautiful yarn, all the time...
Well, when that happens, you're more than welcome to come visit my yarn-house with your two cats. We'll make toilet paper cosies together. Or, using the tonnes of yarn I will have accumumlated, by then, just go straight to knitting an Eiffel Tower cosy. You know. Whichever.
